Best Companies To Work for in Texas 2021

Today, The Onsi Group is proud to announce it was named as one of the 2021 Best Companies to Work for in Texas for the second consecutive year by the Texas Association of Business (TAB), Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group. This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the 100 best places of employment in Texas, benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses.

The selection process for this recognition consisted of two key components. The first part of this survey process consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices, and demographics.

At Onsi, employees often wear multiple “hats” to support the dynamic challenges we continuously face as a small business. Despite holding an array of backgrounds specializing in legal compliance, finance, regulation, and contract operations, our team encourages cross-department collaboration through mutual understanding and teamwork. By properly nurturing this broadened scope of responsibility, we aim to achieve a sense of shared vision and inclusion across the entire team.

The second part of the evaluation involved an employee survey, designed to gauge their individual experiences within the company. 

We firmly believe that the key to nurturing employee satisfaction rests in promoting open communication, flexible accommodations, and a fun working environment. Regular team lunches, public recognition of achievements, and encouragement for personal growth opportunities are just a few examples of how we create a supportive atmosphere. Recognizing each employee as a unique individual, we utilize tools like the Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment to tailor our support, enabling team members to achieve success in a way that aligns with their strengths and interests.

The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. The comprehensive process was skillfully managed by the Best Companies Group, which oversaw the registration and survey process in Texas and employed their expertise to analyze the data and determine the ultimate rankings.

The eagerly anticipated unveiling of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Texas, along with their respective rankings, will take place at the Texas Association of Business (TAB) Best Companies to Work for in Texas Awards Dinner and Celebration on May 13, 2021, at the Fairmont. We are excited to be part of this exclusive event, where industry leaders come together to celebrate excellence in workplace environments.
